Player Grade Levels - The Journey to the Top
ALL PLAYERS ARE GRADED
All Players are graded into one of the ten Grade Levels depending upon how many Grade Points you have earned - All players are registered at the base level when they subscribe. The base level is termed a "LIBRARY READER" The only exception to this is for players who choose to subscribe as Life Members. They enter at level 3 as a "COMMUNICATIONS ANALYST"
UPGRADE YOUR STATUS - As you achieve grade points you are able to request upgrades to your status - Upgrade your status using the Points Management facility Iink in your Account Chamber - click the right hand lamp next to the bed in your Account Chamber and select 'Upgrade Player Level'
EARNING GRADE POINTS - You earn Grade Points by winning games which are listed on the Session Calendar. You can look for games where not many players are registered to give yourself a better chance of winning. Normally the Sirius Points games (the red section of the Session Calendar) carry bigger Grade Points prizes. Occasionally big Grade Points prizes will be hidden away so watch out for them.
THE PLAYER GRADE LEVELS ARE:
LEVEL 1: Library Reader - The base level where you start as a subscribed player
LEVEL 2: Cross Cultural Reader - Once you have achieved 100 Grade Points you may request upgrade to this level.
LEVEL 3: Communications Analyst - Once you have achieved 250 Grade Points you may request upgrade to this level. This is the entry level for Life member subscribers.
LEVEL 4: Language Pilot - Once you have achieved 500 Grade Points you may request upgrade to here - Serious Players get to this level
LEVEL 5: Author of Maps - Once you have achieved 5,000 Grade Points you may request upgrade to the prestegious Author of Maps - You will be awarded a certificate and a valuable antique Map.
LEVEL 6: Commander of Lexicons - Once you have achieved 10,000 Grade Points you may request upgrade to Commander of Lexicons - You will receive a certificate and a valuable antique Book.
LEVEL 7: Commander of Crosswords - Once you have achieved 20,000 Grade Points you may request upgrade to your Commander of Crosswords - You recieve the special Crosswordprizes.com cap
LEVEL 8: Master of Crosswords - Once you have achieved 50,000 Grade Points you may request upgrade to your Masters level - at this level your name will be inscribed on a special site Honourboard and you will receive an engraved Plaque
LEVEL 9: Masterboard Wizard - Once you have achieved 75,000 Grade Points you may request upgrade to Masterboard Wizard -
LEVEL 10: Doctor of Time- Once you have achieved 100,000 Grade Points you may request upgrade to Doctor of Time - Your site Doctorate will mark you as a special, dedicated, crosswords genius.
IN GENERAL
Some players are very serious about their participation, some are here for fun. All registered players are respected. Some players may be accompanied by young people, and there are players of all cultures and religions. We expect, and demand, decent standards of behaviour free from racism, sexism, and other forms of oppression through language and inference.

Once you are a subscriber to the site, our crossword / general-knowledge / computer-skill games are free-to-play for prestige Grade Points. Sirius Points games require a small Sirius Points payment to play, and carry larger Grade Points prizes as well as some special prizes of their own.
