How do I Score?  

Masterboard© is a game of skill.

Masterboard© games are interactive battles

between players to complete crosswords and to

answer general knowledge questions.

 

PLAYING A GAME: Masterboard is played in time-limited Games. Players compete directly against each other to be the first to solve Crossword Clues and to answer Knowledge Questions.

Games are Graded, so select the level you want and away you go - If your game is too hard or too easy then choose a different level of game and play again.

You score points in the Game by solving words in Crosswords and by answering Knowledge Questions. You can jump around between crosswords looking for easy words to solve. There is a BACK button in the game (top left) to take you back to the Library so you can choose another crossword or set of knowledge questions. Whoever has most points when the games ends, wins the game. All Facebook and teaser Games are limited to 5 minutes.

Once a Crossword Clue or a Knowledge Question is correctly answered during the game, the letters turn green and that answer is locked. The player who put in the correct answer gets the points for that answer and nobody else can then solve that word.

Points are scored for the word and points also scored for each letter in the word.

The Rules Sheet for a Game sets out all the points you can win.

To see the Rules Sheet In Facebook games, click the bottom right hand Icon during a game - the Rules Sheet will pop up and show you what points you get for solving words.

On the main site http://www.crosswordprizes.com  the Teaser Game and Challenge Table Games also show the Rules Sheet in the bottom right hand corner of ther Game.

On the main http://www.crosswordprizes.com  site, If you want to play for Prizes go to the Session Calendar page and click on a Game - the Rules Sheet will pop up and you can see the details of the Points which can be won by playing in that Game.
